Elf H2o proof eyeliner pen

I recently went abroad on holiday and as I knew I would be spending a lot of time in the swimming pool, I wanted to find an inexpensive waterproof eyeliner that would last the day and not smudge all over my face whilst playing with my children in the pool.

I had a look at some of the reviews on Amazon and this Elf waterproof eyeliner had really good reviews for what I wanted it to do, so I decided to give it a go.

When I first opened this eyeliner my first thought was that it looked like a felt tip pen. The end it quite thick and I was a bit apprehensive about how good a look I could create. Luckily I was pleasantly surprised and I was able to work with it really well. I certainly need to pay closer attention to make sure I don’t apply it too thickly, but this eyeliner glides on well and is a brilliant black colour.

The staying power of this eyeliner is second to none! I wear this eyeliner all day long and it does not budge at all! I have worn this whilst swimming, out in rainy dog walks and even in the shower to wash my hair and it still looks perfect! In fact the only challenge I have had with it is that it can be tricky to get it all off! I swear by the Nivea eye make up remover, as I wear a lot of eye make up and this is the best thing I’ve found to remove it all. I certainly have to rub a little bit harder to get this eyeliner off, but I think that’s worth it for the long lasting look I have through the day.

I would definitely recommend this eyeliner for either day to day or evening long lasting looks. It really is waterproof and smudge-proof at a really reasonable price.

This is the first product I have used from this brand, but I will definitely look into more products for day to day make up
