As a mum of two young children I know how crazy school mornings can be, and often putting on a bit of of makeup is way down a long list of things you need to do!

For lots of mums putting makeup on just to drop the kids off seems like a waste of time, but to others, it can make you feel a bit more put-together and confident as you start your day. For me, I actually really enjoy putting makeup on, so doing my makeup in the morning is taking a bit of time to myself to prioritise me and set myself up for the day ahead.

If you are looking for some easy make up tips for busy mornings, we have put together a great list for you.

Five quick and easy makeup tips for the school run to help you look fresh and put-together with minimal effort:

1. BB Cream or Tinted Moisturizer:

BB cream or tinted moisturizer is a great alternative to full foundation. It provides light coverage, evens out your skin tone, and often includes SPF for sun protection. This saves time and gives a natural, dewy finish.

2. Concealer for Quick Fixes:

Apply concealer under your eyes to brighten dark circles and on any blemishes or redness. This helps you look more awake and refreshed without needing a full face of makeup. I have recently added the Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer to my make up bag and I love the coverage it gives.

3. Mascara for Wide-Awake Eyes:

A quick coat of mascara can make a big difference in making your eyes look more open and awake. It’s an easy way to add definition without the need for eyeshadow or eyeliner.

4. Blush or Bronzer for a Healthy Glow:

Sweep a bit of blush or bronzer on your cheeks to add a healthy, natural glow to your complexion. This step can make you look more lively and less tired.

5. Tinted Lip Balm or Gloss:

Just like mascara, a bit of tinted lip balm or glass can make a big difference, without being too much. There is so much choice with tinted lip balms in terms of colour and they are great for hydrating your lips too.
